Wondering what the secret behind our name is? Well, Tamarind Weddings is so named because, like its namesake, we provide a rich flavour to a grand ceremony.

Tamarind is a tropical fruit which people use used widely in equatorial cuisines such as Indian, Mexican and Thai. In India, especially towards the south, Tamarind is a main ingredient in various dishes and curries.

The flavour of Tamarind is potent and elusive, which is quite the character we hope to infuse within our firm. The distinct flavour of Tamarind can go a long way in making a dish tasty. And we hope to emulate the same in what we do and bring colour to the functions we draw.

Although a highly sought after cooking ingredient, Tamarind is also famous for being a polishing agent! The fibrous sweet-tart pulp can polish utensils, particularly those made from bronze. It brings out the colour of old bronze vessels, jewellery and other artefacts.

This multi-faceted functionality is followed rigorously by our team as well at Tamarind Weddings. Much like being a polishing agent and a herb, we strive to bring a distinct flavour to the weddings we manage, and ensure that there will never be a dull spot marring the special day.
