The Great Indian Wedding.

The Great Indian Wedding.

The Great Indian Wedding.

God has created man and woman to live in harmony, their existence interwoven with fruits of joy by the commitment called ‘marriage’. He bestowed His highest blessing upon them by giving them a life together, forever.

Wedding’ is a word which arouses a multitude of emotions in an individual. It symbolizes commitment, truth, dreams, parting, but most of all, a sense of ultimate happiness.

For the bride, it is a life anew – with a man by her side, to give her strength and courage.

For the bridegroom, it is a new chapter – with a woman to touch everything in his life.

They join their hands to create a new beginning – a celebration!

The Great Indian Wedding is a celebration of this union.  It merges two lives, two families, two worlds – into one wonderful creation!

Ours is a nation, with cultures myriad and vast, full of colour and zest, where in we view every good happening as the blessing of the Almighty.  And when He blesses two people in such a wonderful way, why not celebrate it to the fullest?

The lights, flowers, ambiance, decor, all reflect the emotions in the air. The rituals, dance, music and festivities converge to create magical moments for the couple and their loved ones. The guests gathered at the event with hearts full of joy, shower their blessings upon the bride and groom.

The parents of the couple have no time to worry, yet somehow, deep down, they are in tension – they have the responsibility of running a grand event! But they also have the immense pleasure of watching their children take the next step in their lives.

Games, mehendi nights, turmeric baths, gift exchanges, food, drink and dancing – It is a party which goes on till dawn.

In the end, it is all about the couple and their brand new beginning: The Great Indian Wedding.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Thank you!
