But the tenets of a Hindu <strong>Vedic wedding<\/strong> remain the same with each ritual or custom having its own significance.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Typical traditions followed in a <strong>Vedic wedding<\/strong> ceremony:<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Vara Satkaraah &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">The day begins with the welcome of the groom by the bride\u2019s family. \u00a0In some cultures, the mother of the bride welcomes him, while in others, it will be her brother. At the destined auspicious moment (the Muhurtham), the priest blesses the Thaali\u00a0and hands it over to the groom. Nadaswarams fill the air, loud and fast, muffling any inauspicious sounds at the critical hour.
