Destination weddings<\/strong><\/a> is a growing trend in Kerala. Kerala is one of the most popular destinations for destination weddings in the world. In the twilight of the 9th<\/sup> of March, Rahul and Madhumita vowed to be together forever on this rich land. The celebration which took place at Parayil House, a fine example of Kerala architecture, with its antique woodwork and its plethora of hidden attics and ancient granaries. The house breathes history and gave an aesthetic feel to the whole function.<\/p>\n

The beautiful bride, Madhumita, was escorted down the aisle by her father and gave her hand to the groom, Rahul. Then in the emotional vow exchange, the couple revealed their love for each other, to their family and friends.<\/p>\n

The Mehendi ceremony represents the bond of matrimony. It signifies the love and affection between the couple and their families. As Mehendi adorned Madhumita\u2019s hands, life took on a new color. Sabareesh Prabhakar and his team performed for the audience, brining a touch of culture to the whole function.<\/p>\n

The wedding took place at Ramada Resort on 10th<\/sup> March and it was literally a celebration of colors. The Bengali Malayali Hindu wedding was a perfect blend of tradition<\/a> and culture. Rahul was welcomed to the venue by the Madhumita\u2019s mother and women from her side. Next, they performed the Ganesh and Narayan puja fpllowing which the bride made her grand entrance. Madhumita entered the Mantap with her face covered with beetel leaves and accompanied by her sisters. The following religious rituals exhibited the cultural background of the two families.<\/p>\n

We arranged for a boat ride through the backwaters Kochi during which the couple and their guests got many fascinating glimpses of the place’s scenic beauty. During the reception, family and friends toasted for the good health and bright future of the couple. Finally, the destination wedding came to a close with a memorable DJ night.<\/p>\n

The year-long preparation for the destination wedding bore fruit when the event became an everlasting memory in the minds of everyone involved.<\/p>\n
