The makers of Princess Diana’s wedding gown were the famous David and Elizabeth Emanuel. The duo’s work on the gown was one of fashion history’s most heavily guarded secrets! In an interview, designer David let on that, “We had hired two security guards at the factory to work in 12-hour shifts. The Princess was referred to using the code name ‘Deborah’. All the gown fittings were held in secret and there were two dress rehearsals in the cathedral.”

One of Princess Diana’s favorate ballgowns from the same designers, David and Elizabeth, is going up for auction at Kerry Taylor Auctions. This gown is soft white and is embellished with golden sequins, crystals and pearls.
